The Misses ( Lifeasleels.com ) had a chance to get behind the wheel of the 2015 Lexus NX 200t F sport for a test drive. So we loaded the family up and drove it around town.

We took surface streets and freeways and the 200t F Sport was never in short supply of power even in the ECO setting. Lexus gave the 200t F Sport a 2.0 liter turbo 4 cylinder motor pushing out 235 horses and 258 foot pounds of torque. When you moved the 200t F Sports performance setting to Sport it brought this SUV to life. We were able to have both of us and the three kids in the 2oot F Sport and it was still able to push all of us back in our seat when needing to pass someone on the freeway. The 6 speed automatic transmission and the throttle became more responsive and you could feel the increase in power. With the optional manual setting, the addition of the paddle shifters, and the sport tuned suspension the 200t F Sport could handle anything the everyday driver can throw at it.

After the initial excitement was over and I stop drooling over all of the option the Lexus 200t F Sport had to offer I was able to start seeing some things that were not perfect for our family. The leather seat were amazing but me being a “bigger” guys I feel that it was a little snug fitting, which on one hand was nice cause if you need to get aggressive while driving you know you are not going to slide around, but would make long car rides a little uncomfortable. Having a family of 5 space is usually a luxury we do not have when it comes to vehicle choices. Since the 200t F Sport was an SUV were expected the kids to have more room in the back but unfortunately with 1 kids still in a car seat and another in a booster we found it difficult for the oldest 2 to be able to reach the buckles. This made getting everyone loaded up a little bit of a challenge. So I would say the 200t F Sport would be just fine for a smaller family like 1 or 2 kids or a little bit older kids.

With all of that being said it was fun just being able to roll the windows down and (oh yeah it has a sun roof) opening the sun roof and enjoy the cooler evening of Arizona fall with the family was the best part.
